CSB-NBA Case Competition Student Leaders

Wes Graddy

My name is Wes Graddy, and I’m a junior from Atlanta, GA. I grew up in a family where my father was a business man, and from a young age I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps. After getting accepted into the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School my sophomore year, I chose to focus my studies on both operations management and consulting.

I am also very involved outside of the classroom. I am privileged to serve as the COO of the Carolina Sport Business Club where we focus on the business side of the sport industry. In addition, I am a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and Greek Life Campus Ministry. I believe diving deep into a few organizations allows me to have a greater impact than spreading myself thin.

My hobbies include lots of Intramurals, working out, and watching a ton of college basketball (Go Heels!). Following graduation, I plan to go into either consulting or operations management. Long-term, I would love to work in the sports industry in some capacity.

I was chosen by Dr. Stroman to be the Student Director for the CSB-NBA Case Competition, and I believe wholeheartedly that this event will be a great success.

Natalie Caneja

My name is Natalie Caneja. I am a senior UNC Sport Administration major and Business Administration minor from the San Francisco Bay area. I currently work as a student manager in the UNC Athletic Department Olympic Sports Equipment Room and serve as a research assistant with the UNC Department of Exercise and Sport Science.

Before transferring to UNC, I attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, Calif. where I earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. While in Southern California, I interned with Irvine-based Velocity Sports Performance, which focuses on grassroots marketing. Additional experience includes my work in an administrative role for a boutique architecture firm.

A self-proclaimed foodie, outdoor enthusiast, and Golden State Warriors fan, I hope to one day achieve a MBA and career in brand marketing within the sports industry. I am excited to serve as the Associate Director for this first annual CSB-NBA Case Competition.
